Absurd Diet Advice From the Year 1925 and 2013

I don’t think any of our modern day diet gimmicks even come close to this one, circa 1925

“Reach for a Lucky instead of a Sweet”

Yeah, OK……
I especially like the fact that these cigarettes are “toasted”, so they don’t cause throat irritation or cough….
Just 15 or 20 kinds of cancer as well as emphysema!
It’s comforting to see we’ve evolved over the last, almost 90 years.
Or, have we?
