Here’s how some prices have changed from 2002 to the beginning of 2013.

Some pretty shocking jumps considering overall food costs are only up 28% from 2002 according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. All of these items reflect more than a 50% increase with the Filet of Fish jumping a shocking 111%!
The good news is that fast food consumption is down. A new report just showed that between 2003-2006, 12.8% of Americans’ calories came from fast food while between 2007-2010 this dropped to 11.3%.
So, is it increased health education of price that is causing less consumption?
Do higher fast food prices keep you from indulging?
