Sugary beverages, that’s what……
Researchers studying world disease data from 2010 formulated that 180,000 people died from diseases that can directly be related to sugary beverage consumption.

They said that 25,000 of these deaths are in the USA and 78% are from low to middle income countries.
Now, I’m sure that their math calculations were a bit too complex for me to understand, but I think there would be a lot of other factors at play here.
Sugar just isn’t consumed in beverage form and sugar as the only factor involved in disease formation would be a stretch as well. Diabetes, heart disease, and cancer are pretty multifaceted diseases and usually can’t be attributed to just one factor.
What do you think? Are sugary beverages really to blame for all those deaths?
